I've been doing a lot of reading, which in turn has motivated me to start writing. Up until now I've been afraid of trying to write seriously. I think that's because in the event that I don't possess even a modicum of talent then that's one more potential career path down the drain. (And one in which I'm becoming more and more interested.)
Still no job. I'm not worried though. I am confident that I will get a job before it becomes a problem.
The new albums by Spoon and The New Pornographers are both wonderful. I cannot wait until November, when I get to see both of them live.
EDIT: Check out this incredible track from the new album from Sunset Rubdown. It's out in October.
Now that school's over, I'm not quite sure what to do with myself. As much as I love reading, I can only do it for so long. Sleeping is fun for a while, but it also gets old before too long. Ditto for playing the guitar, mindlessly browsing the internet, playing video games, etc..
I desperately need to get a job. I suppose that's what I should probably be spending my time working on.
